Cooking instructions


Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home defrost thoroughly before cooking.
200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6. 2 hours 30 minutes.

Before cooking: Remove joint from packaging and allow to rest for 30 minutes at room temperature. Remove the butters and place in a bowl to one side and cover. Coat the joint in the seasoning provided.

During cooking: Place the joint into a roasting dish and place in the centre of the pre-heated oven. To cook rare 2 hours 10 minutes, medium 2 hours 30 minutes, well done 3 hours.

After cooking: Remove joint from oven once cooked and baste with butter. Rest for 10-20 minutes and baste again halfway through resting time. This product should be cooked until it is piping hot throughout. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. This is a guide only. All cooking appliances vary. Storage

For use by date: see front of pack.
Keep refrigerated. Once opened use within 24 hours and do not exceed the use by date.
For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date.
Once frozen consume within 3 months.
Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours.
Do not refreeze once defrosted.
